Portia inherited her love of adventure, travel, and service from her naval officer father. Moving to Alta, Utah, from Washington, DC, she lived slope-side for a decade. In 2020, Portia married an underground miner and established herself in Wyoming. She founded a real estate investment firm and now is bringing her education and skills to the service of others. Truly embracing “The West is the Best,” Portia is an expert on mountain west living. She is a season pass holder at Beaver Mountain, an avid horseback rider, master gardener, incredible cook, and has first hand experience in known and lesser known areas of the Intermountain West. A child of the 70s, Portia collects classic cars, loves target practice, hot springs, and Stetsons. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a Certified Roller Derby Referee. Portia is a University of Utah alumnus, retired mental health therapist, and published researcher who loves to analyze trends and disseminate information to solve problems and create solutions. I grew up learning about the value of doing everything to the best of your ability by being raised a single mom. I moved to Wyoming in 2014 and have fallen in love with the scenery, freedom, and “Cowboy tough” mindset that we run on. My favorite thing about living here is the people that I have met, and I am excited to help people achieve their goals. I am passionate about real estate because I love using my creativity to problem solve, whether it be finding creative financing solutions, navigating complex transactions, or addressing property issues. I love learning new things and staying up to date on statistics and trends in our market. I believe in empowering others and helping to make our community an amazing place to call home.

Celeste Black (formerly Wamsley). Wyoming native that moved around to Salt Lake City, Park City, Pinedale, Denver and finally landed back in Rock Springs when I found my husband Billy here waiting for me ;). I love people and am always finding new ways to help them.  I am very excited to be serving Sweetwater County and the surrounding areas and look forward to finding homes for the people in my community.
